Chemical Resistant Resins
Isophtalic Based
ISO based chemical resistant resins are specially designed for chemical and high temperature resistant applications.
Isophtalic and ISO NPG type resins are ideal for applications requiring high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
Major uses are chemical tanks, pipes, petroleum industries, marine vehicles, solar energy systems, and polyester concrete productions.

Bisphenolic Based
Bisphenolic resins have the maximum heat and chemical resistance properties compared to all polyester groups.
Therefore both Bisphenol-A based polyester and Polives vinyl ester resins are widely used in the chemical industry where high temperature and chemical resistance are required. Main uses are chemical tanks and pipelines, electrolysis cups and anti-corrosion coatings.
When using bisphenolic resin with filler or fiber glass the surface must also be coated with bisphenolic gelcoats (Polijel 291), because these reinforcement materials are not resistant to some chemicals.
